How much does getting divorced cost?

The cost of a divorce depends on a wide variety of factors, the most important two being your behavior and that of your spouse. Divorces can be dragged out, or taken care of expeditiously, and are ultimately a two-person transaction which relies on your willingness to work together.

How long will my divorce take?

Much like the cost of a divorce, the length of a divorce varies widely. Divorces take less time if you and your partner make a conscious effort to amicably split. Contested divorces take more time to finalize and almost always involve multiple conferences, court hearings, and extensive negotiations between parties.

How do I deal with my spouse if negotiations turn hostile?

While no one wants their divorce to turn into a hostile situation, one party sometimes makes divorcing difficult for the other. If this is the case, Mr. Andrews can act as your representative in all divorce-related proceedings. You are not obligated to interact with your former spouse if their behavior becomes abusive—and you may be able to obtain an order of protection if you are being harassed. Mr. Andrews works with you to protect your mental, emotional, and physical safety.
